Fr. Jonald Banatao, OFM Installed Parish Priest
Fr. Jonald Banatao, OFM, was installed the new parish priest of the Parish of St. Mary of the Angels in Sta. Teresita,
Cagayan last March 26, 2006 within the 9 o'clock Sunday Mass. He was installed by His Excellency, the Most Reverend
Archbishop Diosdado Talamayan, DD, Archbishop of Tuguegarao.
Fr. Jonald graduated from Our Lady of the Angels Seminary (OLAS) in 1995. He was solemnly professed in the Order
of Friars Minor on May 31, 2002 and ordained to the priesthood on June 21, 2003. His first assignment after solemn profession
was also in Sta. Teresita in July 15, 2002 but was delayed due to his theological, pastoral preparations based in Manila.After
ordination he served as assistant parish priest to Fr. Carlos Santos, OFM and then to Fr. Elson Singson, OFM. Fr. Jonald
is from Gonzaga, Cagayan.

Our Lady of the Angels Seminary Holds 41st Commencement
Exercises
Our Lady of the Angels Seminary in Bagbag, Novaliches, Quezon City held its 41st Commencement Exercises last March
25, 2006 at the Eugene Cornock Auditorium. The commencement exercises was preceded by a Baccalaureate Mass presided
by the Rev. Fr. Arturo Daquilanea, OFM, Minister Provincial of the Order of Friars Minor, Province of San Pedro Bautista in
the Philippines. Rev. Fr. Lino Gregorio Redoblado, OFM, fresh from his doctoral defense in Rome was the homilist.
Of the 23 who graduated, 9 are interns or Franciscan seminarians and 14 are externs or non-Franciscan
seminarians.
The Franciscan seminarians who graduated are:
Manuel Alcantara, Ace Fernando Cara, Harold Eugenio, Joseph Fedelin, Andro Fernandez, Bernard Gulay Shimar Jove Goyo,
Jayson Rivera, and Michael Salazar.
The non-Franciscan seminarians who graduated are:
Salvador Aldave, Darwin Anolin, Anthony Ayon-ayon, Reymond Cruz, Adrian Escuadra, Marvin Javier, Romeo Javier, Ricarthy
Macalino, Shander Matienzo, Elmer Molito, Carlos Rioroso, Errol Soriao, Clar Tindugan, and Anthony Valenzuela.
